A favorite and the subject of lively conversation wherever it goes. This '71 240Z is a rare blue-on-blue restoration.
A long-time California car, it attracted the attention of Yoshihiko Matsuo, the designer of the original 240Z, who autographed the glovebox door at the 2014 ZCon in San Diego.
The car underwent a restoration in 2020 and later took 3rd place in Best 240Z at the September 2022 JCCS Japanese Classic Car Show in Long Beach, CA. It was last shown at the 2023 WeatherTech International Challenge Concours d'Elegance in Elkhart Lake where it was a crowd favorite.
This car is nearly stock with just a few tasteful modifications which include a 5-speed conversion and restored Panasport Racing wheels.
